About the group

Leeds Gilbert & Sullivan Society is a registered charity based in the heart of Leeds, with a history of over 100 years. It stages one main show each year at the Carriageworks Theatre, plus concerts and smaller productions, in both light opera and musical theatre.

New members are welcome, whether new to the stage or experienced, and the society holds information evenings explaining how to get involved. Recent productions include Sunday in the Park with George in April 2026.
