In de ontvangsthal van pension Rustoord probeert mevrouw Van Duinhoven alles in goede banen te leiden, geholpen door ober Frits en kamermeisje Elsa. De moeizame verstandhouding tussen de twee medewerkers zorgt geregeld voor luidruchtige toestanden. De productie stond onder regie van Piet Kikken.
