Moderne familieversie van het bonenstaak-sprookje over hebzucht en klimaat. Jaap staat voor de keuze tussen het behoud van het voedselbos van zijn familie en de rijkdom die houtkap kan opleveren; in het Wolkenrijk ziet hij wat uitputting en bosbranden veroorzaken.
