The Day They Kidnapped the Pope

InPlayers staged João Bethencourt’s comedy The Day They Kidnapped the Pope in June 2024 at Mike’s Badhuistheater in Amsterdam. Directed by Alexandra Sokolowski, the two-act production follows a New York taxi driver who takes the Pope hostage and demands one day of world peace.
