About the group
Halifax Thespians is an amateur theatre company in Halifax, West Yorkshire, which owns and runs the Halifax Playhouse, a converted Methodist chapel that became a theatre in 1947. It stages up to eight productions a year on the main stage and in the Playhouse Bar Studio.
The Playhouse is a member of the Little Theatre Guild and also offers training for actors, directors and technical crew.
