About this production
Het lege land is een Drentse verteltheatermythe van de Vooropleiding van Garage TDI over Cornelis Pijnacker, die het Drentse landschap in kaart bracht. De productie balanceert historische feiten en fictie en volgt Cornelis en zijn broer Jorias vanaf hun bestaan als turfgravers. David Westera schreef de tekst en regisseerde samen met Remco van Zandvoort.
