About this production
Dressed for Court was English Theatre Utrecht’s first original play, written and directed by Alexandra Elroy with contributions from Kristina Goodnight. Set around a 1923 Chicago murder trial, the 2023 production explored gender, immigration, media sensationalism and justice through the story of Sabella La Malfa.
