About this production
Michiko was in 2013 de eerste volledig zelf gecreëerde musical van de Dutch Junior Musical Academy. Het verhaal volgt Maro, een meisje dat in Kyoto wordt opgeleid tot geisha en in verschillende levensfasen haar weg zoekt. Lyzette Havinga schreef het script en regisseerde, Petra Visser schreef de liedteksten en Gijs van Winkelhof componeerde de muziek.
