De Schijnwerper bracht in 1997 Liever geen bloemen, de Nederlandse titel van de komedie Send Me No Flowers van Norman Barasch en Carroll Moore. In het stuk denkt de hypochondrische George Kimball ten onrechte dat hij ongeneeslijk ziek is en probeert hij zijn zaken voor zijn vermeende dood te regelen.
