De Hanswijckers bracht in mei en juni 2019 Shrek The Musical in Theater De Beun in Heiloo. De komische musical volgt de ogre Shrek, die samen met Donkey op pad gaat om prinses Fiona te redden en onderweg ontdekt dat uiterlijk en vooroordelen niet bepalen wie iemand is.
