About the group
The Broughton Players stage the village pantomime in Church Broughton, Derbyshire, which has been held every winter since the mid-1970s. Recent productions include Sleeping Beauty (2024), Cinderella (2025) and Pirates Ahoy! (2026).
Performances take place at the village primary school during the February half-term. Rehearsals run from late October, and the group welcomes new cast members as well as backstage help.
