Bromley Little Theatre stages Branden Jacobs-Jenkins's play Appropriate in its Main House in October, with performances from 7 to 16 October. The production is directed by Joshua George Lawson.

Bromley Little Theatre is casting eight parts for Appropriate, a play about the Lafayette family in the American South: Antoinette "Toni" Lafayette (late 40s to early 50s), Rhys Thurston (late teens), Beauregarde "Bo" Lafayette (late 40s to early 50s), Rachael Kramer-Lafayette (late 40s), Cassidy Kramer-Lafayette (early teens), Ainsley Kramer-Lafayette (a child), Francois "Franz" Lafayette (late 30s to early 40s) and River Rayner (early 20s). The notice lists the characters as white and American.
Auditions are open to everyone and take place on Sunday 11 April 2027 at 13:00; audition pieces are still to be confirmed. Applicants contact the director, Joshua George Lawson, by email ([email protected]).
