Het Brabants Muziek-Theater bracht in het najaar van 2011 Aida, de musical van Elton John en Tim Rice. Het liefdesverhaal tussen de Nubische prinses Aida en de Egyptische legeraanvoerder Radames speelt tegen de achtergrond van oorlog, gevangenschap en botsende loyaliteiten.
