About this production
Bel Canto Oostzaan bracht in 1991 Offenbachs La fille du tambour-major, in een Nederlandse vertaling van Joop Fransen. De jonge Stella ontdekt dat zij niet de dochter van de hertog Della Volta is, maar van een Franse tamboer-majoor, waardoor haar liefde voor luitenant Robert een nieuwe wending krijgt.
