About this production
Barst Theaterproducties bracht Scrooge voor het eerst in december 2004. De kleurrijke familievoorstelling is gebaseerd op de musicalfilm Scrooge uit 1970, met muziek van Leslie Bricusse en enkele eigen nummers. Ongeveer zestig spelers van 6 tot 60 jaar werkten mee; fragmenten uit de kerstproductie keerden later terug tijdens het Dickensfestijn in Deventer.
