About this production
Arena Fair Theatre stages Marisha Chamberlain's full-length adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women at Willis Theater in Delaware, Ohio, in December 2026. Directed by Cheryl Showalter, the play follows the March sisters — Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy — as they navigate family hardship, illness and growing up while their father is away during the American Civil War.
Auditions are open
Open auditions are held September 20 and 21, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ, 51 W. Central Ave., Delaware, Ohio. Actors age 12 and older need attend only one evening. Auditions use prepared character readings, group cold readings and a short a cappella verse of a Christmas hymn. There is no time-slot registration; candidates should arrive at 6:00 p.m. Callbacks may follow the regular September 21 session.
