About this production
Amsterdam Musical / Stichting Rumoer bracht Come From Away in juni 2026 in het Polanentheater in Amsterdam. De Nederlandstalige productie vertelt het verhaal van de duizenden vliegtuigpassagiers die na de aanslagen van 11 september 2001 onverwacht in Gander, Newfoundland, strandden en daar door de lokale gemeenschap werden opgevangen.
De productie stond op de longlist voor de Amateur Musical Awards 2026 in de categorieën Beste Musical Drama, Beste Ensemble, Beste Vrouwelijke Bijrol Drama, Beste Choreografie en Beste Vormgeving en Toneelbeeld.
