English Theatre Utrecht staged Dale Wasserman’s stage adaptation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in 2020. ETU used a varied cast and a contemporary approach to the roles while retaining the play’s institutional setting and themes of conformity, autonomy and mental health.
