Community Theatre of Howell presents John B. Slemp’s stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol in December 2026. The 90-minute production follows Ebenezer Scrooge through visits from Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. John B. Slemp directs, with Chris Clinton-Cali producing. The three public performances are presented free of charge.

Auditions are scheduled for September 28 and 29, 2026, at the Community Theatre of Howell rehearsal space in the Howell High School Freshman Campus. The production includes an ensemble with singing and character roles. Registration uses a production-specific time-slot form, and the company can arrange an alternative audition time when the published slots are unsuitable.
