Athens Community Theatre

Athens Community Theatre (ACT) is the resident theatre company of The Arts Center in Athens, Tennessee. Established in 1980, the volunteer company produces plays and musicals for public audiences, primarily in the Sue E. Trotter Theater at The Arts Center. ACT also organises play readings and staged readings, and its auditions are open to the community without requiring prior acting or singing experience.
