North Platte Community Playhouse and North Platte Community College present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Fox Theatre as part of the 2026–2027 musical season. Directed by Ritch Galvan, the production is a collaboration between the community playhouse and the college.

Open auditions for the 2026–2027 musical season are held September 14–16 from 7:00–9:00 p.m. in the Canteen Room of the Fox Theatre. Performers may audition for one, two or all three season musicals; a prepared song is preferred but not required. Those unable to attend may contact the production team or the Playhouse office to submit their information.
