An AIMS adjudication of Dunboyne Musical Society's The Wedding Singer, seen on 23 April 2025 at Dunboyne Community Centre. The adjudicator praises the energetic direction, the choreography and the band's handling of the synth-pop score, singles out the Julia and Robbie performances, and finds the costumes, hair and make-up convincingly 1980s. Criticisms are abrupt lighting changes, visible crew during a bed change, a distracting keyboard set-up and sparsely dressed tables and props. Overall it is described as a consistently enjoyable evening.
