Till the Stars Come Down

Auditions for the main stage production directed by Stephen Labourne take place on Tuesday 17 November 2026, with doors at 19:00 and auditions starting at 19:30 in the theatre bar at 128 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby. An introduction night on Thursday 12 November at 19:30 gives people the chance to meet the director and ask questions about the play and the auditions. Audition pieces and scripts to borrow are available on that night. Anyone is welcome to audition, with no membership or fee required.

The play is cast across all ages. The roles are Sylvia (the bride, in her 20s or 30s), Marek (her Polish groom), Hazel and Maggie (Sylvia's sisters), Aunty Carol, John (a friend), Leanne (a friend, late teens or early 20s), Uncle Pete, Tony (the father) and Sarah (a young family member, late teens or early 20s).
