Calendar Girls

Rebel City Drama Club stages Tim Firth's play Calendar Girls in Cork, directed by Cathie Cowhig. The story follows Annie and Chris, whose lives change after Annie's husband John dies of leukaemia, and Chris persuades the women of their local group to pose for an alternative calendar to raise money in his memory.

This staging moves the setting from Yorkshire to contemporary Cork. It plays at the Nano Nagle Theatre in Ballyphehane.
