Guide Bridge Theatre stages Wendy Kesselman’s adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank in March 2027. Directed by Jennifer Savill, the production follows Anne Frank, her family and the other people hiding in the Secret Annex during the Nazi occupation of Amsterdam.

Guide Bridge Theatre is casting eleven parts for The Diary of Anne Frank: Anne Frank (female, 13–15), Otto Frank (male, 50s), Edith Frank (female, 40s), Margot Frank (female, 16–18), Petronella Van Daan (female, 40s), Putti (Hermann) Van Daan (male, 40s), Peter Van Daan (male, 16–18), Jan Dussel (male, 50s), Miep Gies (female, 20s–30s), Mr. Kraler (male, 40s) and three male soldiers with short German lines at the end.
Auditions take place on Saturday 21 November 2026 from 13:00 to 15:00 and are open to all. Advance registration is required by email to [email protected], giving the play and the role or roles of interest; registering at least one week before the audition, by 14 November 2026, is recommended, and walk-ups on the day are not guaranteed an audition. Anyone cast must become an Active Member or Junior Friend of the theatre within 14 days of being cast. Performances run from 8 to 13 March 2027.
