Hands Across the Sea

In Noël Coward's short comedy, the busy Lady Maureen Gilpin unexpectedly receives the Wadhursts, acquaintances from the Far East whom she mistakes for someone else. As telephone calls, naval officers and other visitors overlap, the guests are repeatedly ignored and misunderstood. The play forms part of Coward's Tonight at 8:30 cycle.
