The Mirror Crack'd is Rachel Wagstaff's stage adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel featuring Miss Marple, staged by the Crescent Theatre in its Main House in Birmingham and directed by Michael Barry. The production is planned to run in February 2027.

Auditions for The Mirror Crack'd are held in the Cumberland Room at the Crescent Theatre on Monday 16 November and Thursday 19 November 2026 at 7pm.
Roles: Miss Jane Marple, Cherry Baker, Chief Inspector Dermot Craddock, Heather Leigh, Cyril Leigh, Dolly Bantry, Marina Gregg, Jason Rudd, Ella Zielinsky, Lola Brewster and Giuseppe Renzo; other parts are cast from company members. Applicants are asked to be familiar with, but not memorise, the script excerpts. Rehearsals begin on Saturday 28 November 2026, usually on Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.
Non-members may audition; anyone cast joins the theatre (£60 a year, £25 if unwaged).
